Theresa A. Smith, 73, of Penllyn, PA died on July 25, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Penllyn, PA on September 4, 1936 to the late Harold M. and Lorena C. (Woods) Smith.

Theresa was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist by the late Rev. GG. McGee, Sr. at a very young age.

She was educated in the Lower Gwynedd School System at Ambler Joint High School.

Theresa worked as a Domestic Engineer for many years.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Spring House, PA, a member of the Golden Chain Missionary Ministry, Senior Choir, Daniel W. Dowling Post #769 Auxiliary for 18 years.

Bethlehem bestowed upon her two honors in 1976 Women of the Year and in 1981 by the Christian Education Program Sunday School Department.

She is survived by 3 siblings: Virginia Smith of Penllyn, Harold "Sonny" Milton Smith of Norristown, and Audrey Smith of Penllyn, 1 sister-in-law Gioia Smith of Ambler, 4 Nephews: Stephen (Christine), Kevin (Friend Michelle) of North Wales, Andrey (Friend Alyssa) of Ambler, One Niece Janice Burley (Oscar) of Souderton, 4 Great nieces: Lorena of Allentown, Jacquelyn, Candice, Selene and Jade Smith of North Wales, 1 Great nephew Brandon Burley of Souderton, 1 Great-great niece Amaya Wise and 1 Great-great nephew Tiheed Wise of Allentown, and a host of nieces, cousins, and friends.

Theresa had two very dear friend's Izetta Grimes of Penllyn and Elizabeth Barber, Hospice caregiver. She was pre-deceased by a sister Beverly Ann.
