Sandra L. Sherbert, 53, of Conshohocken, formerly of
Ambler and Blue Bell, died peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends on July 10, 2010 at Mercy Suburban Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Sherbert for 16 years.

She was born in Norristown on May 1, 1957, and was the devoted daughter of Samuel and Elvera (Trofa) Santoro of West Norriton.

She was a graduate of Wissahickon High School Class of 1957 and Montgomery County Community College.

Sandra was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 30 years, and worked at Mercy Suburban Hospital for over 25 years in Pediatrics and Oncology on the 4th Floor.

She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church; enjoyed traveling to many exotic places, but her favorite was Walt Disney World.

She always went out of her way to help others, contributed her time to charitable organizations, and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter Victoria DiPaul (Aloush Almeklafi) of Ambler, a stepdaughter Karis Sherbert of Windermere, FL, 1 grandson Noah Almeklafi, her twin sister Maryann Lucas of Jeffersonville, 2 brothers Frank Santoro (Margaret) of Barrington, RI, David Santoro (Angie) of Blue Bell, and many cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311, www.diabetes.org, are appreciated.
